Welcome message from the Founder

Three years ago when I started Ladies Own Transport Services, I always new that I needed to do something about the lack of safe transport for women. Little did I know it was going to be the near rape of a close friend that catapulted me into the decision to start this initiative, immediately and without resources.

In just one month since the launch of the Rideshare for Women initiative we have achieved amazing successes. This page would be too small to mention them all.

* A brand new website, professionally designed and partly sponsored by Website/IT designer Marlon Keur and wife Tracy Keur.
* Partnership with our Security partner that will provide real on the ground second by second live monitoring and armed response.
* Support in every imaginable way from some of the greatest friends ever - including emotional support all those many times that I wanted to give up.
* An incredible support team from our Operational Manager who stubbornly deals with big problems and little ones, to booking agents, our drivers and instructors.
* An immediate client base.
* Many, many people who believe in me personally and my dreams, especially that I will make it.

To all of you out there, who send kind words of encouragement and support, this is OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER.

This initiative has been launched for the safety of all of us who ever wondered if we would arrive alive at our destination.

Thank you for the support, thank you very much for seeing what I see, a new way of doing old things better.

We are not in competition with taxis, ubers, Bolts or any other operator. We are creating Our Own Unique Space that cares more about the safety of our clients and drivers than profits. We are focused purely in providing females, children and vulnerable people the right to choose their transport. There is room for us all and I hope that as service providers we will work alongside each other in the service of our people.

Finally, as women we called out for years for safer transport. What we do now is to take charge over our own bodies, our own safety while traveling.
